Undergraduate entry requirements
### Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Taiwan
Students must have completed an appropriate foundation, such as one of our [International Study Centre International Foundation courses](https://exeterisc.com/en/search#international-foundation) at Exeter's Streatham Campus, to be eligible for direct entry onto an undergraduate course.
It may be possible to consider applicants with the Senior High School Leaving Certificate if accompanied by successful completion of at least one year at University or a Foundation programme.

Postgraduate entry requirements

#### Postgraduate Research
Applicants for postgraduate research programmes such as PhD or MPhil will need to demonstrate experience of research methodologies, and will normally have completed a Masters degree equivalent with a thesis or dissertation.

## Scholarships and funding opportunities
We are investing over £7m in a range of scholarships to support international and EU students paying international tuition fees, who choose Exeter for their studies in 2026/27.

For September 2026, these merit-based scholarships are valued at:
- Undergraduate (Bachelors): £3,000 or £5,000 (recurring for each eligible year of study)
- Postgraduate Taught (Masters): £3000, £5,000 or £10,000.
