| A\*AA | Average grade of 90% to include at least three subjects at extended level |
| AAA | Average grade of 85% to include at least three subjects at extended level |
| AAB | Average grade of 80% to include at least three subjects at extended level |
| ABB | Average grade of 80% to include at least three subjects at extended level |
| BBB | Average grade of 75% to include at least three subjects at extended level |

Typical entry requirements

| First Degree | Licencjat/Inzynier Bachelor degree (2003 onward) |

| First | A or 5 |
| 2:1 | B or 4.5 |
| 2:2 | C or 4 |

**Please note:** Students who have completed a Masters or Doktor would also be considered if making a postgraduate application.

#### Postgraduate Research

For entry onto postgraduate research programmes (including PhD) you will need to hold a relevant Masters degree, supported by a strong research proposal.

## Scholarships and funding opportunities

We are investing over £7m in a range of scholarships to support international and EU students paying international tuition fees, who choose Exeter for their studies in 2026/27.

Our [Exeter Excellence Scholarships](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/funding/exeterexcellence/), recognise outstanding academic achievement and support students from around the world to take their place in our vibrant, global community. 

For September 2026, these merit-based scholarships are valued at: 

- Undergraduate (Bachelors): £3,000 or £5,000 (recurring for each eligible year of study)
- Postgraduate Taught (Masters): £3000, £5,000 or £10,000.
