Gain sound business understanding and knowledge of a variety of sectors including film, TV production, publishing, theatre, museums and art galleries.
Our pioneering programmes draw on Exeter’s strengths in these areas and aim to equip those with a background or interest in the creative industries with the skills they need to succeed.
We are actively engaged in research and innovation projects within the creative industries and beyond. This includes our Centre for Intermedia and Creative Technology, Centre for Interdisciplinary Film, Centre for Contemporary Performance Practices, The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum, our Creative Dialogues events and our portfolio in the heritage sector.
I completed my degree in BSc Banking & International Finance in Mauritius, following which I had three years of professional experience in Digital Product and Innovation.
After being honoured with a Chevening Scholarship - one of the most prestigious and competitive International scholarships - I was keen to further enhance my skills and experience in innovation and business strategy. I was particularly attracted to the new and practical approach to learning, which is more of 'learning by doing' which is essential in the actual business world. My classes are very engaging and interactive and our assignments are practical, which makes us go beyond our comfort zone and explore our potential in different skills and master 360-degree thinking.
