Entry requirements

Undergraduate entry requirements

Undergraduate entry requirements for students from Ecuador

Students with A levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma, United States academic qualifications, or completion of the first year of a university degree, can apply for direct entry. See individual undergraduate courses for more information about entry using these qualifications.

Otherwise, you will need to complete an acceptable foundation programme, such as one of our International Study Centre International Foundation courses at Exeter's Streatham Campus, or another accepted foundation programme.

Postgraduate entry requirements

Postgraduate entry requirements for students from Ecuador

Postgraduate Taught

The following qualifications are accepted as equivalent to a UK Bachelors degree if studied for 4 years minimum:

Our programmes require a grade equivalent to a UK Second-class Honours (2:1 or 2:2). Check individual Masters courses for exact entry requirements.

Postgraduate Research

Applicants for postgraduate research programmes such as PhD or MPhil will need to demonstrate experience of research methodologies, and will normally have completed a Masters degree equivalent with a thesis or dissertation. We accept the Maestria/Magister for consideration for entry to a postgraduate research degree.
