What happens to your data when you submit a SID online enquiry?
When submitting an enquiry through SID your enquiry may be shared between the following student support departments:
- AccessAbility
- Academic Skills Development
- Accommodation
- Employability and Graduate Development
- International Student Support
- Multi-faith Chaplaincy
- International Student Support
- Exeter IT
- Registry Services
- Finance Services
- Library
- Wellbeing
- your College
This will ensure efficient resolution of your enquiry.

If your enquiry relates to any of the following services, once accepted by that department it will be kept confidentially within that service unless you consent to your information being shared with another service:
- Finance Services
- AccessAbility
- Academic Skills Development
- International Student Support
- Multi-faith Chaplaincy
- Wellbeing (in accordance with the Wellbeing privacy notice)
- or an academic matter within your College.
Enquiries which relate to support and services provided by the Guild may be passed to the Guild Advice Unit.

What happens to your data when you submit a Student Helpdesk (Penryn Campus) enquiry?
When submitting an enquiry through The Student Helpdesk, part or all of your enquiry may be shared between the following support departments:
- Accessibility and Inclusive Learning
- Living Support
- Wellbeing
- Multi-faith Chaplaincy
- Academic Skills
- English for Academic Purposes
- Accommodation Services
- The Compass
- Security
This is for the purpose of ensuring efficient resolution of your enquiry and for providing you with service and support. Your enquiry may also be passed to our partners in SID, University of Exeter, if they are required to assist with the resolution of your enquiry.
All electronic records within are stored securely for 6 years after you have graduated (or last contact) and are then destroyed. Login to The Compass portal.
This service assists both University of Exeter and Falmouth University students with general issues related to student life.
