Training pathways for doctors
The University of Exeter offers clinical academic training and development pathways for doctors at all career stages, from medical students to consultants and GPs. Our Medical School is home to a growing and diverse community of clinical academics who work across the University and in our partner Trusts, GP practices and Integrated Care Systems. The research we lead is 10th in the UK for world-leading and internationally excellent research in clinical medicine, and 100% of our health research impact is rated as world-leading or internationally excellent (Research Excellence Framework 2021). We specialise in research-led teaching and in developing future healthcare professionals and scientists who are socially accountable, collaborative leaders.
