# University of Exeter Alumni Scholarship 2026/27

## About the award
We are pleased to offer University of Exeter alumni beginning a standalone postgraduate programme in 2026/27 with us a scholarship worth 20% of the cost of your first year tuition fees.
Awards are available for students enrolling on most\* standalone (campus-based or online) taught Masters degrees (e.g. MA, MSc, MRes, MFA, LLM, PGCert, PGDip) or research degrees (e.g. MPhil/PhD), and certain online credit-bearing short courses (micro credentials), in 2026/27. The PGCE programme is also eligible for this award.
\*Excluded programmes are:
Online programmes/courses in the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences - MA Education (Online), MA Creative Writing (Online) and micro credentials; MiPDAL Dual Masters in Intellectual Property Law; Graduate Law LLB; and law programmes delivered by the University of Law.
Progression within the same programme, such as between or from micro credentials, between or from a PGCert and a PGDip, to a Masters, or from MPhil to PhD is not eligible for an award under this scheme. (Progression from a standalone Masters to a standalone research degree is eligible.)
## Entry requirements
Awards are available to home and international University of Exeter alumni who have:
- graduated from an undergraduate degree or postgraduate certificate, diploma or degree awarded by the University of Exeter;
- completed an inbound Study Abroad semester/year at the University of Exeter;
- completed a credit-bearing University of Exeter International Summer School;
- completed a University of Exeter online credit-bearing short course (micro credential).
To receive the scholarship, you must meet the entry requirements for your chosen eligible postgraduate programme and enrol on this programme in 2026/27 (1 September 2026 - 31 August 2027).

## How to apply
This scholarship will be applied automatically to eligible postgraduate applicants enrolling for study in 2026/27. A separate scholarship application is not required.
When submitting your postgraduate programme application via our [application portal](https://srs.exeter.ac.uk/urd/sits.urd/run/siw_ipp_lgn.login?process=siw_ipp_app_crs), please remember to complete the relevant section to indicate your previous University of Exeter study. PGCE applicants need to apply via the [Department for Education (DfE) apply page](https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-teacher-training).
