Nigel Cain is a Vice-President and Senior Partner at IBM. Now executive sponsor for a number of strategic AI initiatives, Nigel was previously responsible for developing IBM Consulting’s Worldwide Hybrid Cloud Services business on Microsoft Azure. His career in new technologies and digital transformation has included many years at Microsoft and IBM, as well as working with leaders of numerous organisations from small start-ups to more established companies to help advise and influence long-term strategic outcome, improve business efficiency, reduce operating costs and drive business growth.
Nigel is a Chartered Director (CDir), Fellow of the UK Institute of Directors (FIoD), Chartered IT Professional (CITP) and Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP). Nigel gained his MBA at the University of Warwick in 2010, has an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT and completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School.
