Megan, studying BSc Psychology
"Living in Exeter has been such an experience! — Intimidating at first, but one that I will remember for the rest of my life. Living with friends and meeting new people everywhere has been the highlight, and Exeter was the perfect place to explore the neighbouring areas such as Cornwall, Bristol, Oxford, and London. My favourite aspect would always be the strong sense of community.
Having been a part of the Legion Dance Society and the President of the Singapore Society has drawn me closer to my passions and my culture."
Austin, studying BSc Business Economics
"Throughout my time at Exeter, every moment has been a highlight, making it difficult to single out a specific one. The experience has been truly enriching, and I am grateful for the friendships I forged over the three years.
What I enjoyed most about my degree programme in Business Economics was the exceptional flexibility it offered. This flexibility was a key highlight of my degree programme, empowering me to tailor my studies to align with my specific interests and career aspirations."
Cheryl, studying BSc Environmental Sciences
"I like the smaller cohorts at the Penryn Campus as there are more opportunities to interact with the lecturers. My favourite part of the programme is going on field trips. We went to West Penwith in the first year, Isles of Scilly in second and California in the third year.
The overall rank of my course and the University played a huge role in my decision to come here. Plus, the University of Exeter is one of the few universities in the UK that is known and recognised by Singaporeans."
Kevin, studying BSc Accounting and Business with Industrial Experience
"Employability at Exeter is one of the best within the UK, and with the opportunity to undertake a year in industry, this allows me to gain valuable insights within the industry of financial services at such an early stage of my career.
As a Portfolio Manager in the Exeter Student Investment Fund, I have access to Bloomberg Terminals, a software system that allows me to access real-time market data and investing analytics, where I spend quite a fair amount of time managing the real money fund, along with my own work at university."
Apoorva, studying BSc Management & Marketing
"I think the University does a great job of providing resources to develop yourself holistically, there is a lot of career support available should you need assistance with that.
I think the people at Exeter made all the difference for me, I am lucky to have met some of my best friends while here who have made the process of settling in to a new country so much easier. There is also a lot of support from the University to make international students feel more at home."
