# Neurodiversity Cafe

 

## Neurodiversity Cafe

The Neurodiversity Café is a social group that is open to any staff member or PGR student who identifies as neurodivergent – we use Nick Walker’s definition of neurodivergence ([NEURODIVERSITY: SOME BASIC TERMS & DEFINITIONS • NEUROQUEER](https://neuroqueer.com/neurodiversity-terms-and-definitions/)).

The Café’s aims to create a neurodivergent-led, confidential and supportive space to meet regularly to talk about things that matter to us.  We will also set up a private Teams channel to have a space for informal chat.

We run [Body Doubling Sessions](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/departments/inclusion/groups/networks/neurodiversitycafe/bodydoubling/) on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays 14:00-15:30
