Health Wellbeing and Support for Study Procedures

This procedure is intended to be used as an alternative to any disciplinary procedure in cases where your performance or attendance or behaviour is such that would normally lead to the University starting disciplinary procedures, but there is concern that your behaviour is caused by underlying disability or ill health.

We will need to consider your ability to study, learn and graduate successfully and this procedure is designed to ensure that the University has provided you with every reasonable support to enable you to complete your studies.

The Health, Wellbeing and Support for Study procedure can be recommended either by academic staff or by support staff if they have sufficient concerns.

Details of the procedure for Exeter and Penryn Campuses can be found by clicking on the following link: Health Wellbeing and Support for Study Procedures (HWSSP) – Exeter and Penryn Campuses
