Our Markets Apprenticeship is atwo-year, paid programme for students who are curious about financial markets and want to start a career in banking without going to university.  \ \ From day one, you’ll be part of a front-office Markets team, learning how we support our clients through trading and risk management. \ \ You’ll earn while you learn, gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, and complete a fully funded, industry-recognised qualification alongside your role.

*What is Financial Markets?\ *Our Markets teams help clients buy and sell financial products, manage financial risk and access global markets. This includes areas such as: \ \ Foreign exchange (FX)

Markets sits within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and plays a key role in helping clients grow, manage risk and invest sustainably.

*What you’ll be doing *During the programme, you’ll gain exposure to different Markets teams and supporting functions. You’ll:

Build strong communication skills through regular interaction with colleagues and stakeholders. You’ll rotate across teams to build a broad understanding of Markets and develop practical, transferable skills.

Our Client Coverage Apprenticeship is a two-year, paid programmefor students who want to start a career in banking without going to university.  From day one, you’ll be part of a front-office Client Coverage team, learning how we support our clients, building long-term relationships and delivering solutions across markets, financing and investment products.  You’ll earn while you learn, gain real responsibility early on, and complete a fully funded, industry-recognised qualificationalongside hands-on experience.  What is Client Coverage? Client Coverage teams are responsible for managing and developing relationships with our corporate and institutional clients around the world.  They work closely with specialist product teams to deliver solutions across areas such as:  - Trade and cash management - Financing and credit - Capital markets and investment products Client Coverage sits within Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) and plays a key role in helping clients grow, manage risk and invest sustainably. What you’ll be doing During the programme, you’ll gain exposure to different areas of Client Coverage and supporting teams. We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, providing bespoke software solutions to solve our customers complex problems. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Level 6 Degree Apprentice Software Engineer to join us in September 2026 for the duration of 3 years, based in Plymouth. As part of the scheme, you will achieve a BSc Digital and Technology Solutions from Exeter University.

The process to apply for a degree apprenticeship varies slightly depending on whether you are currently employed or an aspiring employee. Details of the process for both are outlined below.

Get in touch with our degree apprenticeship team via the relevant contact details for your chosen programme. You’ll be sent an application email outlining the next steps to apply.

Once your application has been reviewed, you will be notified of the outcome via email from the University’s central admissions team. If your application is successful, you will need to accept your offer via the instructions in the email.
