## Head of the President and Vice-Chancellor’s Office Assistant Director (Executive Support), University Corporate Services

Dr Victoria Alcock is the [Head of the Vice-Chancellor's Office](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/contact/) and provides executive support to the [President and Vice-Chancellor](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/executive/vicechancellor/) through management of the business of the [University Executive Board](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/executive/) and the [Senior Leaders Forum](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/seniorleadersforum/), speech-writing, drafting reports, policy research and management of correspondence and diary prioritisation.

She also manages the team of Business Managers and Executive PA support to the [President and Vice-Chancellor](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/executive/vicechancellor/), [Senior Vice-President and Registrar & Secretary](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/executive/registrarandsecretary/), [Senior Vice-President and Provost](https://www.exeter.ac.uk/about/governance/managed/executive/provost/), and Deputy Vice-Chancellors.

### Profile

Victoria joined the University in September 2006. Prior to this, she held various executive support roles in the public sector, and was Research Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of London, Sir Graeme Davies, from 2003-2006. She has a BA in History from the University of Sheffield and an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge.
