Our International Academic Exchange Programme lets you spend time at one of many top business schools around the world.
The programme is optional on these courses:
Studying abroad is an invaluable experience. As well as spending time learning about another culture, you’ll also:
- develop your international business knowledge
- enhance your CV
- improve your language skills (IMML courses)
- make new friends and network

We want to help make sure your time studying abroad is as simple and stress-free as possible.
Through our International Academic Exchange Programme, you can expect:
- no extra tuition fees to study abroad
- lessons taught in English (except those studying IMML)
- a selection of pre-agreed units for you to study
- support with getting a study visa
We cannot guarantee you an exchange at a specific business school, but our Employability Team will help you throughout the process.

Help with accommodation
The Exchange Programme makes finding somewhere to stay as simple as possible. Our partner business schools will help you find accommodation for your exchange.
The University's Foreign Languages Service offers a range of language courses and learning opportunities. These may help you prepare for spending time abroad during your degree. You'll have the opportunity to gain globally-recognised qualifications while improving your language skills.
