Our responsibilities
The Press Office:
- publicises the impact of our academics' research
- communicates news from the University, its staff, students and collaborators
- provides information in crisis situations\
- puts the media, government departments and MPs in touch with experts
The Internal Communications team:
- communicates news and events to the University
- advises departments on internal communications

The Strategic Communications, Campaigns, and Social Media team:
- communicates messages to students, staff, industry and our local community through campaigns, content creation, and social media
- advises departments on social media best-practice
- develops and delivers external campaigns to promote University messages around research and enterprise
