# FPMC: Bath symposium on fluid power and motion control

The University of Bath Centre for Power Transmission and Motion Control (PTMC) invites you to submit abstracts for the 2026 international symposium on fluid power and motion control (FPMC 2026).

FPMC 2026 is the 39th in a series of annual Symposia which began in 1988. The Symposium will be held at Bath, and will include a banquet and presentation of awards on the evening of 17th September. The 2026 FPMC organizing committee is looking forward to your participation.

Papers will be subject to formal peer review. Accepted papers will be published in the open-access Symposium Proceedings by Springer Nature.
