# Physical Spaces

UNSW Learning Environments supports and maintains a wide range of physical spaces including over 220 centrally allocated teaching spaces. Our physical spaces facilitate integrated learning and teaching styles from traditional lectures to active, blended and team-based learning. All spaces are equipped with a comprehensive suite of AV equipment, which supports learning and teaching practice and is designed to enhance the student experience.

## Teaching Spaces

Our centrally allocated teaching spaces (CATS) teaching spaces include lecture theatres, tutorial and seminar rooms. They cater to small, medium and large classes and are designed to enhance the staff teaching experience as well as the student learning experience. Our rooms are configurable to support collaborative, interactive and team-based learning.

## Study Spaces

We support over 3,000 student study spaces across the Kensington campus. These spaces are primarily located adjacent to our CATS rooms in various precincts including the Quadrangle, Business School, Red Centre Gallery, Webster Courtyard and more.
