## Open Humanities Press
**Agreement duration:**This is an ongoing arrangement.
Please note, UNSW corresponding authors can simply comply with the [Open Access policy](https://www.unsw.edu.au/content/dam/pdfs/governance/policy/2022-01-policies/openaccesspolicy.pdf) by retaining the rights to the Author Accepted Manuscript and depositing a copy into UNSWorks (via ROS) using a CC-BY licence.
**Summary:** [OHP](http://www.openhumanitiespress.org/about/community/) is an international community of scholars, editors and readers with a focus on critical and cultural theory. They have operated as a independent volunteer initiative since 2006, promoting open access scholarship in journals, books and exploring new forms of scholarly communication. Open Humanities Press is not-for-profit and is incorporated under the UK Companies Act 2006 as a Community Interest Company (Company No. 8481225). The registered office is in London, England.
**Agreement details:**All Open Humanities Press journals publish without any charges, either to the reader or to the author.
**Author eligibility:** All current UNSW researchers including HDR candidates.
**Information for authors:**Open access articles go through normal refereeing and editorial processes. Open Humanities Press journals have no embargo periods that delay the free availability of the full text as soon as it is published.
**Eligible article types:**Various, Journals and Books are included.
**Acceptance date:** This is ongoing.
**Number of included articles:** Articles and publications are not capped. Peer review is independent of the medium a journal publishes in. Open access is compatible with external assessment and independent editorial decisions.
**Sharing via repositories:**Sharing via repositories is permitted.
**How to submit your article for open access publishing:**
1. The UNSW corresponding author should follow the usual article submission process via [Open Humanities Press Submissions](http://www.openhumanitiespress.org/submit/submissions/)
2. On acceptance, the publisher will ask the corresponding author to complete a form (publishing agreement).
3. On acceptance of the manuscript. Articles will be published under a [Creative Commons Licence](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/).
4. To comply with the [Open Access policy](https://www.unsw.edu.au/content/dam/pdfs/governance/policy/2022-01-policies/openaccesspolicy.pdf) the UNSW corresponding author will need to retain the rights to either the Published Version of Record or Author Accepted Manuscript, and deposit into UNSWorks using a CC BY licence.
**Corresponding authors should not use personal email addresses**(e.g. Hotmail, Gmail)**or email addresses affiliated with other organisations, research centres or institutes.**Otherwise they may be ineligible under the terms of this agreement.
