Welcome to all our new and returning students for the 2024-25 academic year.\

On this page you can find information about our Welcome Week activities and how you can get involved.

Welcome Week
:   Sussexsport are running a week's worth of free classes to introduce our new students to sport and fitness at Sussex! [View available tickets and book your place by visiting our Ticket Tailor box office online.](https://buytickets.at/welcomeweek2024events1)

    We are also offering free access to both our of gyms on Wednesday 18th September from 4pm-8pm. Just check in at reception when you arrive.

    *Please note: Entry will be dependent on capacity and numbers, places are not guaranteed and will be first come, first served.*

Active Us
:   [Active US](https://www.sussex.ac.uk/sport/students/activeus) is our social sports programme - designed for students, run by students.

    Take part in casual social sessions, join our development groups or have some friendly competition in our weekly leagues; whatever you choose there's plenty of opportunity to play and progress.

    Our fun social sessions cost just £2 - with no commitment, no membership and no experience needed.

Fresher's Fair
:   Come and meet us at Fresher's Fair in the Sport centre on Wednesday 18th September, 12-4pm! Talk to us about ActiveUs and Sussexsport, plus meet all your sports club representatives.

Memberships
:   We have memberships to suit everyone, from the all incusive Gold package, to the pay-as-you-go Bronze. [Find out more and buy your memberships online](https://www.sussex.ac.uk/sport/book), or come and speak to our friendly reception team at either of our buildings on campus.
