# Book the Meeting House

Book the Meeting House for a range of seminars, meetings and events.

## Bookable rooms

The Meeting House has two rooms that are available to book for a range of seminars, meetings, events and celebrations. If you’d like to book a room, email James Croft at [J.F.Croft@sussex.ac.uk](mailto:J.F.Croft@sussex.ac.uk), who will be able to answer any questions you may have.

### The Chapel

The Chapel holds up to 200 people. We host weddings, memorial services and concerts. Weddings must have a connection to the University, for example, alumni.

### The Quiet Room

The Quiet Room holds up to 80 people. There is an Audio Visual (AV) screen in the room and a computer. You are welcome to bring your laptop to connect.

## Notable events

We have been lucky enough to host some very exciting events and celebrations at the Meeting House. In 2021, Brit Award winner, [Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, filmed his Crossfire music video in The Chapel](https://www.sussex.ac.uk/broadcast/read/56319).

Classical musician and Sussex alumni [Matthew Sheeran](https://www.cedillerecords.org/artists/matthew-sheeran/) also used our space for filming.
