## Carrying out activities for an overseas organisation

If you’re conducting an activity at the direction of a foreign government or organisation – including “specified foreign powers” – you may need to register this under the [Foreign Influence Registration Scheme (FIRS)](https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/foreign-influence-registration-scheme).
