We claimed the top spot in both the International and Student Life categories, in the South East region.

The award digs into nationwide surveys and student feedback to reveal the UK universities creating a campus life worth celebrating.

The judges also looked into green spaces, culture and local life and praised our staff for the support they give students at all levels.

Living on our beautiful green campus – the only university in a national park – you’ll be just a few minutes’ walk away from the library, lecture theatres, shops, cafés and bars. And if you love the great outdoors, take a short walk from campus and you’re in the stunning South Downs.

Joining a student-led club or society is a fun way to meet new people and there are over 180 to choose from. So, whether you’re a sports lover, gamer or Bake Off fan, there’s something for everyone.

You’ll also find plenty of facilities on campus, including two sports centres, a pharmacy and a supermarket.
