#### Sussex Turkey Scholarship

The University offers a tuition fee reduction for new postgraduate students who have Turkish nationality and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex.

Sussex Turkish Society, a place for our Turkish student community to connect over food, drinks, social

events and celebrate national holidays. - the Buddy Scheme, which matches new students with current students based on your interests and includes activities and trips - the Language Café, where you take part in language exchange sessions and other activities.

Societies are a fantastic way of trying new experiences and making new friends.

Islamic Society (Isoc)

The Islamic Society is one of Sussex’s most active societies, providing religious and social support services during your time at university.

The Islamic Society provides:

free Iftar every day after sunset at the Muslim Student Centre
Tarawih Prayer every day after Iftar
breakfast at the Muslim Student Centre on the Eid following Ramadan.

You can buy international products from our weekly on-campus market and food markets in Brighton, and halal meats from Taj The Grocer.

There are also halal restaurants in the city, ranging from Moroccan to Lebanese.
