Sussex Nepal Scholarship (Masters) (2026)

This new scholarship has been introduced in 2026 for applicants who are nationals of Nepal, are classified as 'Overseas' for fee purposes and have been accepted to study an eligible Masters course at Sussex starting in September 2026.

How to apply

The scholarship is applied automatically if you meet the eligibility criteria. If this changes at any time, the scholarship will be removed.

Confirmation of the scholarship will be sent by email after you receive an offer of a place to study at Sussex and information about the scholarship will be included in your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) for your visa application. If the scholarship information is not showing on your CAS, please contact the Admissions Office: pg.applicants@sussex.ac.uk.

Terms and conditions

Students must be self-financing to receive the scholarship. If you confirm that you are being sponsored, or that your tuition fees are being paid by sponsor, employer or other funding provider, then the scholarship offer will be revoked.

The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee reduction for your first year of full-time study at Sussex.

Advice for dual nationals: in order to receive the Sussex Nepal Scholarship, you may be asked to provide evidence to the University of your Nepalese nationality (such as a passport or other form of official government identification which confirms citizenship). If you are planning to apply for your Student Visa with another passport, then please note that you may also be required to present evidence of your Nepal nationality during the visa application process and arrival in the UK as the Sussex Nepalese Scholarship will be included on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) document. If you have any questions about this, please contact the Scholarships Office: scholarships@sussex.ac.uk.
