Autumn teaching

On this module, you’ll explore key ideas and practices on human flourishing. You’ll address flourishing as a diverse, relational and multidimensional experience.

You’ll examine:

Drawing on the University of Sussex’s radical history of thinking across subjects, you’ll develop an understanding of what helps people live meaningful, connected and fulfilling lives. You’ll explore what inhibits this, including socio-economic inequalities and discrimination. By the end of the module, you’ll develop the knowledge and critical awareness needed to consider how flourishing can be realised in creative, inclusive, just and democratic ways.
