15 credits, Level 5

Autumn teaching

On this module you’ll examine resistance and social justice from a global outlook.

You’ll explore historical and cultural cases where ideas and practices adopted in Europe and around the world have challenged:

In all these cases, acts of resistance have often led to social, political and cultural revolution.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, you’ll engage with historical, artistic, literary and political issues in the works you study to form an intercultural perspective.

We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2026/27. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.

We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
