Let us know if you want to defer the start date of your MBA or MSc in Data Science.

How to request a deferral

If you have an MBA or Data Science application with us but want to defer your start date, let us know and we will consider your request. We have two start dates available each year for MBA and Data Science, one in January and one in September.

We usually only allow you to defer your place for up to one year. If you have previously deferred and want to defer again, you will need to check the latest request does not exceed this. If it does, you should withdraw your place at Sussex and re-apply when you are ready to join us.
