# Gary Okihiro Library

*“A book is a living organism / Dissect—Probe—Discover.” - Gary Okihiro (1945-2024)*

Located on the third floor of the Center, the Okihiro Library holds Yale’s largest collection of over 2,000 books in Asian American Studies and by Asian authors. Many of the books were a donation by the late Professor Gary Okihiro from his personal collection in 2016.
