## Parking
There is limited metered street parking on Grove, College, and York Streets near the library. Parking meters accept credit cards, nickels, dimes, and quarters, or the [Parkmobile app](http://us.parkmobile.com/new-haven-parking). Meters for handicapped parking are available on College Street between Grove Street and Elm Street. Wall and High Streets are closed to vehicular traffic.
Off-street parking facilities open to the public in easy walking distance from the Beinecke Library include [56 Broadway](https://theshopsatyale.com/parking-directions/) opposite the Yale Bookstore (two blocks west), [65 Grove Street](https://www.lazparking.com/local/new-haven-ct/grove-street-garage) (two blocks east), and the [Crown Street Garage](https://parknewhaven.com/parking/crown-street-garage/') (three blocks south).

## Bus and Shuttle
The library is accessible via public bus lines and the Yale Shuttle. The Yale Shuttle, which provides no-fare shuttle service, has a Blue, Red, and Orange lines shuttle stop at College Street and Wall Street; the Red line provides transit to and from New Haven’s Union Station.
