The instruments in the CBIC are open to all researchers in the Yale community as well as academic or industrial researchers outside of Yale. A student or a post-doc who wishes to operate instruments in the Center should first obtain approval from his or her research supervisor and then . CBIC use by academic or industrial researchers outside of Yale is dependent upon approval by the [CBIC director](mailto:eric.paulson@yale.edu).
