Did you know that Yale’s spring break is two weeks long? As thankful as I am for these two weeks off, I have been spoiled by the comfort of these two weeks and am currently experiencing a minor quarter-life crisis. After a red-eye flight and two weeks of relaxation, like many other students, I am readjusting to having to go to classes (what is she), the cold weather (can’t complain because at least it’s above freezing), and the finality of these next few weeks (I need to romanticize every waking moment until I no longer have swipe access at Yale).

To make me feel slightly better and because I need to clean out my camera roll, here are some of my favorite photos from my last ever spring break.

\
Some of my many walks along the piers in California

\
Al! The friendliest pet pig I know!

\
Had to document my first time eating in-n-out (I’m a big fan of the neapolitan shake)

\
Some volcanoes I thought were cool

\
A pleasantly surprising sea turtle sighting

\
Died a little on the hike but at least we survived

\
I was proud of taking this sunset photo

\
Special thanks to Samy’s parents for hosting us <3

\
How I felt on the commute back to school

Of course, not all of the core moments from spring break were featured here but these sum up my trip nicely. Whether it be going back home, catching up on your schoolwork, traveling with friends, or spending time in New Haven, be sure to make the most of your breaks at Yale and take time to relax (please learn from my mistakes).
