A special workshop inspired by musician Meshell Ndgeocello’s Grammy-winning album, *No More Water: the Gospel of James Baldwin*, and her historic Ellington Jazz Series campus concert this season.

Join Yale’s Black Sound & the Archive Working Group for a critical exploration of select items from the James Baldwin Papers & Photographs and a meditation on the sonic and archival politics of Baldwin’s legacy.
