# Circularity Bootcamp “CiBoo” – Kick-Off and Media Training

The Circularity Bootcamp “CiBoo” has officially started. The project is funded by the VW Stiftung and conducted by the Chair of Circular Economy and Sustainability Assessment and the Professorship Economics, with five students participating.

In January 2026, the Circularity Bootcamp “CiBoo” at TUM Campus Straubing officially kicked off. The project is funded by the VW Stiftung and jointly conducted by the Chair of Circular Economy and Sustainability Assessment and the Professorship Economics. Over the course of several months, five participating students will explore different aspects of circular lifestyles and reflect on how circular behaviour can contribute to more sustainable consumption and production patterns.

To prepare for communicating their journey publicly, the program began with media training. The workshop was led by Céline Schuster (Media School Bayern) and accompanied by Dr. Vanessa Heinrich, Martin Speckner, and Inka Hahn. The students gained insights into social media dynamics, strategic communication, and content creation, skills that will support them in documenting and sharing their experiences with a wider audience.

The heart of CiBoo lies in a series of bi-weekly challenges. Each challenge encourages students to test circular practices in their everyday lives and to experiment with creative communication formats. The aim is to make the topic tangible, relatable, and engaging for a broader public.

By combining practical experimentation with personal storytelling, the five students offer a hands-on perspective on what circularity can look like beyond theory.

Interested readers are invited to follow their journey on Instagram and gain insights into both the opportunities and challenges of adopting circular practices.
