# Ehrenprofessorinnen und Ehrenprofessoren – TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professors

Mit dem Ehrentitel „TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professor“ zeichnet die Technische Universität München seit 2007 international herausragende Wissenschaftler und Wissenschaftlerinnen aus, die ein Wissenschaftsgebiet führend entwickelt haben und mit ihrer Fachkollegenschaft der TUM langfristig zusammenarbeiten. Den Ehrentitel verleiht der Präsident auf Beschluss des Erweiterten Hochschulpräsidiums und des Senats. Die „TUM Distinguished Affiliated Professors“ sind Mitglieder des Professorenkollegiums jener Schools, die ihre eingebracht haben. Joint appointments in mehreren Schools sind möglich.
