Important Notice

Although TUMCS is named a Campus, the German universities themselves do not provide any accomodation and nutrition and none of them are included in the semester fees.

It is up to the students to find accommodation and provide themselves with food*.

However, here are some contact points and links to get you started on your hunt for an appartment, a flat-sharing community or a room in a student residence.

* The Canteen and the Cafeteria of the Student Union offer lunch and snacks but those are also not included in the semester fees.

Landlords and landladies can advertise free of charge in TUM Living. After registration, commission-free offers can be created especially for TUM members.

Residential Complex "Zeisigstraße" of the Student Union Zeisigstraße 19, 94315 Straubing – 1,7 km from Campus (6 min by bike)

The residential complex, built using sustainable timber construction methods, is located near the city center in the "Zum Stutzwinkel" development area. The TUM Campus Straubing is less than two kilometers away. The residential complex comprises 85 residential units. There are 23 single apartments with their own kitchen and bathroom. The residential complex also includes two barrier-free single apartments, 26 places in two-person shared apartments, and 36 places in four-person shared apartments.

Depending on the size of the shared apartment, two or four residents share a kitchen with a spacious dining area and a bathroom with toilet. All rooms are furnished with a bed, desk, wardrobe, and curtains. There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers on the ground floor. Parking spaces and a bicycle storage room are available in the residential complex.
