Career
From 1988 to 1991 Professor Huckemann studied business administration, majoring in corporate accounting, auditing, procurement and product policy, at the Universities of Dortmund and Cologne. Between 1992 and 1996 he acquired his doctorate from the University of Cologne in the field of public finance for his work on financial aid in cooperative federalism. In parallel to this he worked for the Bertelsmann Foundation / Witten/Herdecke University on its “International Business Site Ranking” project. From 1996 to 1998 he worked for the construction company Heilit+Woerner BauAG. Professor Huckemann has been at Deloitte since 1999. He consults mainly in the areas of controlling, process optimization and strategic management in the consumer business sector.
