Teaching awards 2021 & 2022 to Prof. Dr. Dominik Grimm

At the beginning of 2022, the TUM Campus Straubing Student Council awarded the prize for excellent teaching for the first time – to Prof Dr Dominik Grimm. A ‘Tree of Teaching’ behind the ‘Sustainable Chemistry’ teaching and research building facing the Danube is dedicated to him.

The student council already selected Prof Grimm as the winner last year, and now the students congratulated him with a sign next to a newly planted silver willow after the completion of the new building and the adjacent green space. The students at the TUM Campus Straubing vote for the best lecturer in an annual survey, which is then announced by the student body. Prof Dr Dominik Grimm has headed the Professorship of Bioinformatics at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) at the TUM Campus Straubing since 2018.
