Roman de la Rose Digital Library

The Roman de la Rose Digital Library is a joint project of The Johns Hopkins University and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. The creation of this site and the digitization of the manuscripts from the Bibliothèque nationale was made possible through generous support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

The project that preceded the Roman de la Rose Digital Library was the Roman de la Rose Digital Surrogates project. This was a project of the Sheridan LibrariesThe Johns Hopkins University, and the Morgan Library & Museum. This project received support from the Walters Art Museumthe Bodleian Librarythe J. Paul Getty Museum, the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, the Gladys Kriebel Delmas Foundation, and Ameritech Library Services.

Christine de Pizan Digital Scriptorium

The Christine de Pizan Digital Scriptorium is a joint project of the University of Waterloo’s MARGOT project, the Sheridan Libraries of Johns Hopkins University and the Bibliothèque nationale de France. The creation of this resource and the digitization of manuscripts from the BnF was made possible by generous support from the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation.
