Accessibility at Johns Hopkins University

At Johns Hopkins University we are committed to ensuring people with disabilities enjoy full participation in the university’s programs, services, and benefits. JHU seeks to continuously increase accessibility on its campuses and in its activities, and prohibits unlawful discrimination on the basis of disability.

Student Disability Services (SDS) promotes accessible and equitable student experiences by leading and collaborating with campus partners to proactively remove barriers and raise awareness of best practices.  SDS also coordinates accommodations and services for students with disabilities.

Requesting Accommodations

To begin the process of requesting accommodations, students should complete the online SDS Application and provide documentation that meets the SDS Guidelines for Documentation. For more information or to request assistance with any step in the process, students can contact an SDS advisor at their school within the SDS Hubs below.
