The Brody Learning Commons connects to the Eisenhower Library and includes a large quiet reading room, 16 group study rooms, teaching and seminar rooms, and a café. The Commons is also home to the Department of Special Collections and the Department of Conservation and Preservation.
## Upcoming Hours Update
Special Collections will be moving following the spring semester 2026 and will experience the following temporary access changes:
- Closed May 18- July 10, 2026. During this time we will be physically relocating, but researchers are welcome to contact [[email protected]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#8dfefde8eee4ece1eee2e1e1e8eef9e4e2e3fecde1e4fef9fea3e7e5f8a3e8e9f8 "mailto:specialcollections@lists.jhu.edu") about access to materials or questions they have about our holdings.
- From July 13 through the fall semester 2026, we will operate from our temporary location in Room 5015-5017 in the Brody Learning Commons.
- Hours will be by appointment only, Monday-Friday from 10AM-4:30PM.
All researchers must email [[email protected]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#8efdfeebede7efe2ede1e2e2ebedfae7e1e0fdcee2e7fdfafda0e4e6fba0ebeafb "mailto:specialcollections@lists.jhu.edu") to schedule appointments. Requests for materials can continue to be made through Catalyst and ArchivesSpace.
