Johns Hopkins provides access to a large selection of newspapers.

- A more organized list is on the research guide called [News and Newspapers](https://guides.library.jhu.edu/news)

A few individual newspapers are digital or "dot com" editions, meaning that they can be accessed from the newspaper's website. Most require you to create a free account. You must register with your JHED Id for the free account. These include:

- Hopkins (JH) affiliates can register for free NYT content via the [New York Times Digital Edition](https://databases.library.jhu.edu/databases/proxy/JHU07380). This version works with desktop computers, tablets, mobile devices and the NYT app, but does not work with Kindle.\
- The digital edition does not include Cooking, Games or Wirecutter content.\
- Historical content can be found in [ProQuest Historical Newspapers: The New York Times,](https://databases.library.jhu.edu/databases/proxy/JHU06296) which includes full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. This collection does not include the Sunday Magazine or the Book Review.

- A database called[Press Reader](http://databases.library.jhu.edu/databases/proxy/JHU04649) offers accessto the Asia and Europe editions, which have different content. Note that Press Reader only offers the most recent three months of content.
