The Irene and Richard Frary Library is located in the [Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center at 555 Pennsylvania Avenue](https://washingtondc.jhu.edu/).

Librarians are available to support you throughout your research process and provide access to all of the Sheridan Libraries’ collections, services, information resources, and tools to advance open, accessible, and collaborative scholarship and dialogue.

## Services

- Librarians are available for research appointments or other assistance in person, via Zoom or email at  [[email protected]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#bad6d3d8c8dbc8c3ded9fad0d294dfdecf "mailto:librarydc@jh.edu").
- Book Pickup Service: Print books and other materials from John Hopkins and partner libraries may be requested for pickup. The hold shelf, accessible whenever the building is open, is located across from the Library Service Desk.
- Multi-function printer/scanner/copiers are located on floors B2 (B218), 2 (near the Library’s Service Desk) and 6 (computer lab). See [Printing at the Libraries](https://ask.library.jhu.edu/library-buildings/faq/409803) for more information.

## Study, Work and Storage Spaces

- Seating: Over 400 seats in open lounge and study areas throughout the building.
- Group Study: 25 group study rooms, ranging in size from 4 to 10 seats. Three group study rooms are located in the Library: 228B, 228H, and 228L. See [Room Reservations](https://www.library.jhu.edu/library-services/room-reservations/) for more instructions.
- Computer Lab: Workstations are available on the 6th floor of the building.
- Lockers: Over 500 lockers available for use by students on a daily basis. Most are located on Floor B2.
