Center for Biotechnology Education

The Johns Hopkins University Center for Biotechnology Education comprises graduate programs designed around an application-based approach that delivers an optimal balance of theoretical and practical knowledge. The Center’s programs are taught by practitioner-scholars and are designed for working professionals, delivering the rigorous and practical curricula needed for career advancement.

Teaching Statement

The Center for Biotechnology Education embodies a skills-based learning environment.  We are committed to providing access to rigorous offerings for our learners at all stages of their educational journey. In all that we do, our learners' goals aid our work in pursuit of propelling their careers.

At the Center for Biotechnology Education

Graduate Degrees

The center is home to seven master’s degrees: the MS in Bioinformatics, MS in Biotechnology, MS in Food Safety Regulation, MS in Individualized Genomics and Health, MS in Regulatory Science, MS in Regenerative and Stem Cell Technologies, and the Master of Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Students also have the ability to combine the MS in Biotechnology with an MBA from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
