# Have you Experienced discrimination, Harassment or Bias?
Have you experienced discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age national origin, religion, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law?
**These behaviors, as well as any related retaliation, violate the University's** [**Policy on Discrimination and/or Harassment**](https://inclusive.princeton.edu/node/571)**. The University has an obligation to make reasonable efforts to investigate and address complaints or reports of prohibited conduct.**
### Sex or Gender Discrimination
Sex or gender discrimination, including sexual misconduct such as sexual harassment and sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner violence, is defined by and prohibited under the University's policy and disciplinary procedures for [sex discrimination and sexual misconduct](http://www.princeton.edu/pub/rrr/part1/index.xml#comp13). **To make a complaint or report of sex discrimination**, please use the [Sex Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Complaint Form(link is external)](http://sexualmisconduct.princeton.edu/complaint).
### Discrimination based on Other Protected Characteristics
**If you wish to make a complaint or report of discriminatory or harassing treatment based on protected characteristics other than sex or gender discrimination**, [please fill out a Discrimination/Harassment Complaint Report](https://inclusive.princeton.edu/addressing-concerns/file-a-report). This form will be sent directly to the Office of the Vice Provost for Institutional Equity and Diversity and invokes the University's internal investigative process.
