Yiqi joined the German Department in Fall 2025. Her research interests include the intersections of literature and science, aesthetics, and literary theory. She is also an avid reader of Buddhist texts and hopes to trace the literary influences of Buddhism in German literature and philosophy.

Before coming to Princeton, Yiqi completed her M.A. in Comparative Literature at the Free University of Berlin, during which she spent an exchange semester at the University of Zurich in Fall 2023. Her master thesis examines non-Euclidean geometry and its aesthetic and discursive implications in Kleist’s *Marionettentheater.* Prior to that, she earned her B.A. in German literature, with a concentration in mathematics, from Columbia University in 2022.
