## About SWP

For over 60 years, SWP has opened up academic and professional opportunities for countless Princeton undergraduates. As the oldest international internship program of its kind at the University, SWP takes learning beyond the classroom by connecting Princeton undergraduates with internships in German-speaking countries.  In conjunction with the Princeton Alumni Association of Germany and the Princeton Club of Austria, SWP arranges internships with leading German and Austrian companies and institutions in the arts, education, culture, STEM & COS, business & finance, government, service & social impact, non-profits, medicine, and law.  Many internships are tailored to students’ specific academic and professional interests.  SWP also supports student-initiated opportunities.

We offer both in-person as well as remote internships.  Please consult the University’s [Permissible Travel Guidelines](https://international.princeton.edu/permissible-travel-guidelines "Permissible Travel Guidelines") page for the most up-to-date information regarding international travel.

For detailed information regarding the application process, please visit our [How to Apply](https://german.princeton.edu/programs/summer/summer-work-program/how-apply "How To Apply") and [FAQ](https://german.princeton.edu/frequently-asked-questions "FAQ") pages.

**All deadlines for STEM internships have passed.**

**New applications for internships in the arts, literature, culture and service / social impact will be waitlisted. German proficiency is required.****To request an application form, please contact** [@email](#)
