Hello! My name is Wunnyuriti, a sophomore in Butler College! I am a Ghanaian-American from Western Massachusetts (though I lived in Denver, CO for the first five years of my life!) and I am majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering, with an intended minor in Urban Studies. I hope to pursue pathways in urban and international development or sustainability after graduation.
I research soil health, environmental remediation, and STEM education as part of the Office of Sustainability’s Campus as Lab program. I am also a member of the Food Justice Cohort in Service Focus, a program in the Pace Center for Civic Engagement that engages students in community-engaged scholarship and service.
Outside of academics, I am a bassoonist in the Sinfonia and Wind Ensemble, and volunteer in Trenton through the club Food Bank Express. I am also involved in the Muslim Student Association! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or topics you would like me to cover!
