Any questions or issues related to room reservations in the Carl A. Fields Center can be directed to fieldscenter@princeton.edu or (609) 258-2271.


Submitting a Reservation in EMS

All student organizations, academic and professional departments must reserve the Carl A. Fields Center by completing a request using EMS. If your event is approved, you will receive a confirmation email to ensure the time, date, and space is accurate.

All reservable spaces in the Fields Center—including affinity rooms—are available by request to all Princeton University student organizations, academic departments, and professional offices.

Building Service Policies

Note: The fields center has approximately 15 round tables, 200 chairs, 6 foot tables, and a stage for indoor use only. If you need outside furniture please contact facilities. There is no charge to rent the rooms, tables, or chairs for Princeton affiliated groups. However, there is a fee for set-up, clean-up and an additional fee for weekends.

Audio Visual Policies

If you plan to use the A/V equipment available at the Carl A. Fields Center and are not familiar with it, please contact the Carl Fields Center via email at fieldscenter@princeton.edu. You can schedule an appointment for a one-on-one training session before your event. Please note we may or may not be able to provide assistance on the day of your event.

Use of the Media Closet

The media closet in the Multipurpose Room 104 includes access to the projector/screen, sound system, and microphones. The media closet will be unlocked if you requested the use of any of the above in your room set-up needs with Facilities.

Kitchen Use

The Carl A. Fields Center is one of the only spaces on campus where students are allowed to cook and distribute food to their groups on campus. With this privilege comes responsibility. This space is equipped with an oven, one refrigerator, one refrigerator-freezer, three large stainless-steel sinks, and supply drawers.

Alcohol

If you are serving alcohol at your event, a public safety officer MUST be contracted and present during the entirety of the event. Please contact the Public Safety office to arrange this service at 8-5771.
