Nora Stumpfögger joined the German Department in Fall 2022. She pursues her research from an interdisciplinary perspective and is particularly interested in psychoanalytic theory and non-clinical applications of psychoanalysis to culture, society, and the arts. Nora holds degrees in Philosophy and Art History from Humboldt University of Berlin (BA), and in Psychology from the University of Hamburg (BSc) and University College London (MSc). Before coming to Princeton, she worked as a research associate in Frankfurt and Berlin, where she conducted research on affects, migration and displacement.
