A postgraduate research scholarship

A stipend scholarship for a PhD student within the Faculty of Science to conduct research in receptor biology.

## Benefits

This scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney RTP rate (indexed on 1 January each year) for up to three years and six months, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

## Who's eligible

You must:

- be a domestic or international student
- have an unconditional offer of admission in a full-time PhD at the Faculty of Science
- meet all mandatory admission requirements set by the University - exceptions on admission requirements will not be made
- hold an honours degree (first class), first class equivalent or a master's degree in neuropharmacology related field with a substantial research component
- be willing to undertake research in receptor biology under the supervision of Professor Michael Kassiou

## Background

The Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Receptor Research has been developed to support an outstanding postgraduate research student in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney to undertake research in oxytocin receptor research.
